About the platform
What is Parts Resolve?
A UK trade platform that cross-references car part numbers across OEM, aftermarket and dismantler stock, verifies fitment using DVLA vehicle data, and routes orders to verified suppliers.
Who is it for?
Trade only. Independent garages, bodyshops, car dealers, fleets, motor factors, national parts distributors, OEM suppliers and ATF dismantlers. We do not sell to consumers.
What makes you different from eBay Motors or Euro Car Parts?
We are a cross-reference graph, not a list of listings. Every match cites its source, every fitment is checked against DVLA, and every supplier is verified trade. The platform connects parts data — most marketplaces only list parts.
Where is Parts Resolve based?
United Kingdom. All vehicle and trading data is stored in UK or EU regions. We are GDPR compliant and happy to sign customer DPAs.
For buyers (garages, dealers, fleets)
How much does it cost to use as a buyer?
Searching is free. Registering is free. You pay only for the parts you order, at the supplier’s trade price. Optional Pro plans add high-volume features for larger workshops, dealer groups and fleets.
Are the suppliers vetted?
Every supplier is verified trade — Companies House, trade references, ongoing performance monitoring (fulfilment rate, return rate, response time). Underperformers are dropped.
What if a part doesn’t fit?
Every cross-reference cites its evidence, so wrong-fit returns are rare. When they do happen, the supplier’s standard returns policy applies and Parts Resolve will mediate any dispute.
Can I integrate with my workshop or fleet system?
Yes. The Parts Resolve API plugs into the major workshop, DMS and fleet-management platforms. See the API page for details.
For suppliers
How much does it cost to be a supplier?
No subscription. A small per-order success fee, charged only when an order completes. Volume tiers available for national distributors and OEM suppliers.
How do I send my stock?
CSV, FTP, REST API or EDI. Most local suppliers start with a daily CSV; national and OEM partners typically use a live API or EDI flow.
Will Parts Resolve compete with my direct trade accounts?
No. The platform is additive. Buyers with direct accounts can keep buying direct; Parts Resolve picks up the long tail you can’t cover one-to-one.
Can I control which products are visible?
Yes — by category, brand, region or buyer segment. Many suppliers expose service items and aftermarket lines while keeping certain ranges off-network.
API & developers
How do I get an API key?
Register a free account, head to the API section in your dashboard, and generate a key. You can manage multiple keys per environment.
Is there a free trial?
Every new account gets 100 free API requests. No card required.
What counts as a request?
One call to one endpoint counts as one request. Batch operations count as one request regardless of items inside (up to 100 per batch).
Do you offer custom pricing for high volume?
Yes — contact sales for custom pricing above 100,000 requests per month or for SLA-backed enterprise deployments.
Data, privacy & GDPR
Where is data stored?
UK or EU regions, depending on the customer. We do not transfer personal data outside the UK / EEA without an adequate safeguard in place.
Do you log VRMs?
VRM lookups are logged for fraud prevention and auditing, retained on a least-privilege basis. We do not sell lookup data and we do not log raw DVLA responses at info level.
How do I request a copy or deletion of my data?
Email privacy@partsresolve.co.uk and we will respond within 30 days, in line with UK GDPR.
